Services provided
All meals are carefully prepared to cater for all residents tastes providing a nutritious and well balanced diet. Meals are freshly prepared in our own kitchen by a qualified cook. There is a choice of main meals and desserts for lunch and a choice of hot or cold suppers and dessert. Afternoon tea and cakes are served mid afternoon but beverages and snacks are available at all times. Personal preferences are taken into account and special diets such as diabetic, high-fibre, puree and vegetarian are catered for in conjunction with the advice from doctors and dieticians. Meals are a very sociable occasion and residents are encouraged to leave their rooms but may be served with meals there if they wish. During the summer refreshments are served in the garden and can be a pleasant interlude for all concerned.

All outside services that residents need to make their life satisfying are arranged by Roann House. The visiting services of a G.P., dentist, physiotherapist, chiropodist, optician, hairdresser, aromatherapist, music and movement therapist are regularly available in the Home. Personal clothing is laundered in the premises.
